Last year we had 19 candidates, elected officials, or their representatives speak. It’s always a fun and
informative event.
Election of officers will occur at 12:15 PM, and our honored guests will be invited to speak beginning at 12:30 PM.
This month’s featured speaker is Susan Ellenberg, member of the San Jose Unified School District Board, and Candidate for County Supervisor. She will speak on the topic of Civics Education in our schools.
Members and guests gather for potluck at 6:30 PM, and the program begins at 7:00 PM.

The April 24, 2017 Dean Club working meeting will be an endorsement meeting. The Endorsement Committee will make recommendations regarding 2018 US Congressional races in California and Chair of the California Democratic Party. Everyone is invited to attend. Members in good standing for not less than three months are eligible to vote. A two thirds majority of members present and voting is required for endorsement.
Any candidate for these offices, or their representative, who attends will be given an opportunity to address the membership. Other offices will be considered at subsequent meetings.
The meeting is at Marie Callender’s, 751 E El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA 94087. Arrive at 6:30 PM to place your dinner order and be ready for the meeting at 7:00 PM.
