Fund Raiser for Mike Honda

facing the refugee crisis

JOIN JIM DEAN, CHAIR OF DEMOCRACY FOR AMERICA, AT A FUNDRAISER FOR CONGRESSMAN MIKE HONDA ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH AT 5:30 PM.

Mike’s progressive values and his voting record in Congress make a difference. Mike’s seniority on the Appropriations Committee means that if the country comes to its senses and we regain Congress, Mike will be there in a senior position, to support the needs of the valley.

Now is a critical time for Mike. I hope you will be able to attend. You are welcome to invite your friends to attend, as well.

Jim Dean is chair of Democracy for America, over a million strong (founded 2004), supporting good progressives across the country. They’re working on very few congressional races this time, but Mike Honda’s race is one of them! Hence Jim will be here Saturday evening, Feb 20. 5:30 – 7:30, your chance to find out about this vital organization and strong ally.  Mike Honda you know: always on the right side of our issues; details and endorsements at www.mikehonda.com , if you need a refresher.

Mike needs our help. His opponent will, shall we say, stop at nothing, and is quite well-funded. That’s why Jim Dean himself is coming out here to support Mike. The Dean Democratic Club of Silicon Valley proudly endorsed Mike unanimously and is a cosponsor of this event.

I hope you can make this, or at least send a contribution, of any size.
